Just wanted to mention that I am really happy with the quality of some lowers I bought on ebay for $200.

They have a good finish, look cnc cut, not too heavy but not too flimsy either. The lines look about as good as stock.

I was a bit nervous about the low price, and figured I was taking a chance. However, it worked out fine. Nothing came up searching the forum for "polish fairings" so I figured I'd let everyone know that it worked out.

Not sure if I should post an ebay link here- it'll expire. But if you're looking for fairings on ebay, you'll probably find auctions by cwv-carswantchange.

Matching the Suzuki colour added a few dollars- in the end I paid $400 for paint- which still comes in under OEM prices.

I had to fab up three brackets: Rear lower mounts, and for some reason the throttle side doesn't use the rad mount screw. The clutch side does.

Now I just need to get the no-cut sliders, with the offset bracket.

How did you install the fairing? Were you able to find a fitting kit somewhere or you made it yourself? I ordered it last week, it should arrive in 10 days and I still have no idea how I will install them

Also did you use any insulation on the motor side, especially near the exhaust? If you didn't, did it melt? I am not sure about fiberglass's thermal resistance
