Good job! When I done the one on the DL I had a few versions on the shaft, bearing mount, and alternator mounting. Mine didn't really stick out enough to matter at all. And as you know they flat work well! I was running a lot of accessories and it handled them all. When I sold my DL 1000 I removed the components and sold them to a guy with a sidecar. Still going as far as I know. I was turning my alternator faster than yours, actually I think the 1:1 or a little faster would be better in the long run than what I was running. I was obsessed with idle charging output and should not have worried much about that....
