What an improvement. Best $50 mod yet. Shifting is noticeably shorter. Feels just right now. No problems finding neutral. I would highly recommend this mod. The sv1000 should have come from the factory like this. I didn't get a long ride in because it was 45 and cold as hell here in maine but my impressions are all positive. I took like 10 min to change. Just wanted to share my experience with all of you.

Its an excellent mod.....did mine a very long time ago...the orginal shift was too long and indisinct, well in comparison.... I have read somewhere there is another lever thats even shorter, but i cant remember what....

Hmmm, intriguing. Haven't had a problem with the shifter but it is a little clunky. When my Harley seems to shift smoother there must be a better alternative. 😂🤣

Yeah, the TL shift shaft arm is probably 1/4" shorter (distant memory) and it makes the gear lever throw nearly 20% less.....it wasn't bad before, but its way better after....

I am also using the TLR shifter arm for years now and it's great. I would love however to have an even shorter gear arm.
