When I turn the ignition on, the dash and all come on, but I do not get that initial electrical whine and display says "CHEC", and the bike can't be started. Also I have noticed the alarm button on the keyfob has no effect.

I have tried jumping the connectors together as you would to get an error code with turning key on with cut-off on then switching it off, but that does not work either and "CHEC" just remains.

Any ideas please as I have no idea what to do!

When you do the dealer mode check, you must turn on the key, and the kill switch.....

what do you mean by electrical whine? fuel pump sound? can you hear that fuel pump is priming?

I pushed my bike a kilometer from the car wash and up my long driveway and it nearly killed me. All because they had flipped the kill switch when drying it.
