I am looking into parting out my 2007 sv1000s. I have been trying to sell it as a broken engine motorcycle for $3500, but just come up short. I had some engine problems, so I purchased an ebay motor but they screwed me over and sold me one with a small crack in the oil pressure sensor mounting stem soooo the bike leaks oil, and basically makes it unsellable! SOOOOO now I am just trying to get a feel for if there is true value in simply parting out my bike. I have two engines, most parts are in perfect condition on both, but some are damaged. Soooo throw me some offers on any parts you'd want and I will post what is sold off of it!

LMK if you do end up parting it out. I would be interested in the frame (if it has a clean title) after you price it. Shipping may be pretty pricey since I'm in FL. It's a shame - the bike is sweet. :(

I only get a chance to log on a couple times a month - my email is prolly better.

Hmm... may be interested in the integrated rear light, and ,what looks like, powdercoated rearsets and passenger peg mounts (and aftermarket pegs). That exhaust looks sweet too... but I think I want to stick with the dual cannons of death.

I'm unable to reply to your PM thru the portal. Maybe my post count is too low?

I've been watching the 1K frames for almost 2 years. I have a couple hanging in my shop right now and I built my track bike with a salvage title frame thinking I'd be able to register it in FL with the correct documentation. But I'm at the point where it may be more time / cost effective to just buy a legal frame and swap everything over.

Just LMK when you price it.

Thanks,

Craig

Front end

I bought one that was scabbed together. The last owner lied to me, or just didn't know any better, in regards to what was actually wrong with it and I got burned. Not too bad if I can find some good people on this forum to help me get her just right. The bike is ride-able but the front end is loose because of a few repaired plastics and the right top metal bracket broken where the rear view mirror attaches.

I need the entire front assembly. This includes: the metal mount that holds the plastics to the front end, headlights, lower cowl, instrument cover, and windshield. Basically the entire front end plastics and head lights. I don't need the speedometer or anything else. Try my email again...it is [email protected]. Try typing it in directly on a new message from your email, the link might not work. You can also call if you like. 785-226-6652. If I don't answer please leave a message and I will get back to you. I may not answer if I am riding.:supsmiley:
