Any one tell me in the UK where i can get a new design Suzuki tank badge. Had a look on ebay but nowt on there which takes my fancy. And i ani't paying Suzuki there bloody stupid prices.
I did a search on an online parts catalog, found the part number, then went to a UK site that said that they sell Suzuki parts at a discount, and found this:
I cant find a close up of a petrol tank but you can get a pretty good idea what i'm after from the pic.
My paint work will be ready in about 2 weeks time so i'm in a hurry here. Been trying to find some for about the last 6 weeks and not having much luck.
I got these decals from A-Z Stickers. There not what i'm really after but there going to have to do. I would like a couple of the chrome ones but they are just to much.
I got two kinds the one on the left i quiet like but it might have been better if the silver bit had been white and the one on the right is what i'll probley stick on the tank. I've left the backing paper on but they are silver.
dont rush into something you dont want, if you want something to stick onto a black / blank canvas, be creative and we will go from there, did this for an ex, look for the text on the top spoiler to the effect in the window is what you would see to the car behind
Ok then. If you can do it, The stickers on the right if you could do some of them. The inside white with a black board'er on the out side. i know it's not that creative but it would match the paint work.
Bugger i've just given away a clue to what colour i'm getting the bike painted.
no need chap, will see what we can do, maybe somehow make it a little more special somehow, heres another quick chop, i like black you see and imagine this on your black tank?
i had a couple of minutes to myself today and done a couple of little things, the "S" logo has 3m's 7953 laminated to the rear before laser etching the text in reverse so when stuck to the tank you will feel the smooth side, the brown layer is the release liner, so when stuck, the "S" will be see through, the keyring was etched the correct way, with 3ms 7955 on the second layer, pressed together the a final profile laser cut.
Here Mr KitKat When I get my new bike I'm going to rip of the Gladarse stickers of the bike cos they are crap and replace them with something more becoming my new V-Twin.
As I'm shit at designing anything like that, I'm wondering if you have any ideas on the subject.
Maybe SF650V or SFV650 in maybe the old TLR1000 style or SV650.
i could have a look at doing something, maybe locksmith could help with a design, i should be able to manufacture something, will see what can come up with
The SVR looks ok but I'm not sure of the 650. Also looking at it on your tank, I'm thinking it's a little to big, width wise. I think it would be to big to go on the side panel.
By the way thanks for all your efforts so far.unk:
