I have a 2006 SV1000 with an LSL Handlbar riser. I am needing to upgrade my forks or refurb mine. Is seems that the cost is similar to Change to GXR forks. Do I need a different piece such as yours to convert to GXR forks? Sorry in advance of this seems like a stupid question. I have read a few discussions about the conversion but it seems difficult to wrap my head around everything needed for the conversion.

This is a setup to be able to run gsxr1000 forks on your SV1K while maintaining the stock ignition location. The LSL setup you have now will only accept stock SV1k forks or forks that are identical in measurement to the stock forks you have now. I'm unaware of any GSXR forks being the same in measurement to the stock SV1k forks.

Unless I am misinterpreting your post and you are running non stock forks with your LSL setup.
