I have used the paddock race stands from T-Rex on several different bikes and they have been great, fairly priced, sturdy, and adaptable to many different applications....

I know this is an old thread but thought others might benefit from my reply.
I've got an ABBA superbike stand which I bought for my Fireblade some time back. Adapting it to the SV is only a matter of buying a fitting kit costing +/_ £20. It's a great stand, really well made, and they can be operated with one hand with no danger of the bike falling over, they're really a great product.
I have no connection to ABBA whatsoever, I just love things that work well...

I've got one too and they're great....... Unfortunately I had to buy my own sparkly suit and platform boots, for how much the actual stand cost I thought they would have been included

I prefer Pit Bull stands. Worth every single penny.

A great alternative for economy pricing is GPI Industries stands.
