Finally came up with an idea for my opposite leg (had a tat to cover up a scar a few years back). Any of you photoshop wizards mind working a little magic? I'll take it to a good shop and let the artist work up a drawing, but I want to point him in the right direction.

I want to keep it B&W, but like half way down his cloak, have it begin fading into good old stars and stripes. I played with the idea of making his scythe an M4, but that would be kinda strange, wouldn't it? (I'm just getting death, not the background/fog)

Maybe have the stars n stripes coming down on his sythe?
It looks like theres something on there as it is.
You could incorperate the flag coming down where he is holding the sythe?

that's a good idea now that you mention it. I was thinking his cloak at first so people wouldn't even notice it unless they looked close, but now I've gotta play with the flag off the scyth idea. maybe I'll have the artist draw up two, and see which I like mo betta

Black & White, tattered and torn up/shredded flag coming off the scythe would look nice

thanks, I love it. Took 2.5 hours, but it was worth it. Only $120 too!

The flag isn't color, it's just the raw skin under the light shading that makes it look color

Thats gotta be the most clever tattoo I've ever seen.

I'm thinking of having muscular six pack tattooed on my belly, easier than working out for it.
