just googlin away and came across people removing there oil coolers to shave weight and cleans up bike,so with the tech in oil we have now, lets say i was todo this? before installing block off plates/bolts,would i need to remove the oil jet in the sump via oil filter? just unscrew the allen head in there?.

Its not something i would lean towards doing on the SV. The radiator is not really up the job of keeping the engine cool in heavy traffic, or, in hot places, and the oil cooler is going a long way toward
helping.
Some will point to the DL1000's not having a cooler, but their radiators are probably 25% bigger, could even be 30%. They also are lower comp, smaller throttle bodies and tame valve timing.

Yeah oil, is better, but it is a team effort.

on the tlr1000 they use a oil cooler that screws into the oil filter and then goes the oil filter is screwed into that and that little device oil is cooled by the water, like a small inter cooler (looks nice also).i remember before covid that parts was cheaper even on ebay, but its nuts for new parts,i need a fuel pump and to buy new its ÂŁ1100 + vat,for a fuel pump?.

If there was an easy and not too expensive option, I'd install bigger radiator and oil cooler.
But there isn't so I'm using 10W50 oil, not pushing it when temperature is above 100 C / 212 F and turning it OFF when standing in traffic in summer heat.

Ooohh ML, you gave me such great idea, I'm embarrassed since I didn't came up to this myself because I've done it so many times in the past, for cars and 1 bike.
Manual override for fan it is. 👍👌
Thank you. 🙂
