Engine paint

Hi All
Is the dark grey(colorrite 4915) the engine color I have a 2003 that I just got new with some showroom damage would love to touch up the spot the part is almost $200 US.

I need my Ermax seat cowl repainted Silver,

The finish from Ermax is shite and hasnt lasted anytime at all it is so easily scratched,

My question is roughly how much would a proffesional auto painters take to respray it,
I also need the hugger I just bought of Ebay done, I havent received it yet but it is not colour matched but in a silver ghost finish,
If it is too expensive to get someone to do it I would think about doing it myself.

I've just got the paint to do some lowers that I got from ebay, for the bits that you are talking about if I were you I would spend the £40 on paint and have a go yourself, all the bits you need painting are shadowed anyway so even if you do a bad job no-one will see.

I too, have an 03 with chips on the engine covers and need a paint code to get it touched up.
Any ideas chaps?

I don't believe engine and frame paint are produced by color-rite.

My plan is to someday remove all the pieces in the winter and have them bead blasted and powdercoated...:supsmiley

paint codes

hi im looking for the paint code for my sv1000s

its an 06 in deep suzuki pearl blue but my local paint shop needs a code starting with a g , as in G578

any ideas where i can get this thnx

tried the dealers and they told me to look in the warranty book at the pink sticker and that where the above colour came from

ill take the 4305 number and hopefully the g just gets stuck on the front

No but if it's a lower you need the Trevs mate Dave has just bought some for track days (from me.....) there may be a deal there maybe?

i havent got any lowers on my sz,but i found the colour codes for my bike,but suzuki only do the touch up paints,i need to fill the panel's then spray them in,so still looking for someone who can match paints

hey folks found the paint codes for the sz,the service book say's lr5(pearl deep blue/glass white),this is broken down into two more codes ybd(white) & yba(blue),but the white is not listed(probally the wrong code),but consistes(cant spell) of two parts:supsmiley

I think it is like the frame paint and not listed...
