My tasty mods..........

* Race-Tech .95 front springs/15wt oil( hey, i'm a hard riding 200lb pounder :D )

* Gafler steel-braided front lines
* EBC Contour Lite Rotors(warped the right front OEM!)
* EbC HH front pads
* Zero Gravity double-bouble smoke screen(great for crusin at 90+ :D )
* lowered front end( raised tubes 11mm showing).......does wonders for front-to-back balance and steering response.....
* Dunlop D208's( feel and grip is awesome!)...DONE..New Pilot Powers even better!!!!
* Targa tank protector....
* Jardine fender kit....
* gel grips
* DID X-ring & Vortex sprockets

What a difference!

I have completed my '03 GSXR 750 front end swap!!! The feedback from the forks is soooo much better than with the stock forks. The bike is also much more flickable. It feels like it's lost a ton of weight. The extra 10mm on the rotors also makes a noticable difference.

Here's the list of parts I used on it.
'03 GSXR 750 forks, and Triples ($175 on ebay)
320mm EBC brake rotors from a TL ($150 on ebay)
Spiegler LSL off set match clipons ($179 +$40 for the bars from Spiegler) Very nice product!
New Grips ($20 on ebay)
New Bar Ends ($20 on ebay)

I reused the SV's wheel, axle, brake calipers, controls, and front fender (home made a bracket out of carbon fiber so it would fit)

Decided to play today; so thought I'd update this:

TRE Mod (homemade, thanks to Andy)
PAIR system removed (blocked-off and valve dismantled)
Techlusion TFI controller fitted (lives in toolbox)
Set-up suspension to suit me, not some ultralight wizkid...
Balanced fuel injection (Carbtune works well)
TPS adjustment now done
SV1000 Tank pad
Stomp grips fitted to tank sides - excellent
Crash bungs fitted to protect radiator (sticks-out a bloody long way!)
Scorpion stainless steel end cans (Ex-TL1000)
Hamicad rear fender eliminator
Hamicad radiator & cooler covers (x2)
Fenda extenda
Pyramid bellypan
Pyramid hugger
Suzuki DL handguards
Handlebar risers (1" up and 1" back)
Comfort clean grips
Black mirrors
Bum Wraps seat mod. - oh joy :banana:
Clutch slave cylinder mod. fitted (added additional gasket)
Stainlees steel bolts - added in various places
Ermax nose fairing (GSX1400) - needed modifying but excellent wind deflection performance
SV1000 Reservoir covers
16T front sprocket (OEM 17T was a bitch to remove :ranting: ) - speedo is now about 5 mph out :no:
Chewy's tank raising kit
Chewy's SV logo on screen (finally got rid of the Ermax one)

What didn't work:
Buell lowered pegs - setback too far and hurt :crazy: Shame, as lower was better.
Silicon seat pad inserted into seat - still uncomfortable & got bloody hot!
Thundernose fairing (Banditmania) still got wind blasted
Winters here :cold: so had another play today:

Speedohealer fitted - that should keep me legal :whistle:
Stainlees steel bar ends - slightly heavier than stock and had to use OEM kit as the SV1000S dosn't have the expanding rubber mount inside the handlebars.
Chewy's blanking plates - makes the spark plugs easier to get at :yes:

All from guys on this forum - Thanks :first:

Oh she sounds soooooo sweet :devil2:

In the pic you can also get a view of how much I've had her lowered. That's a 3 3/4" drop for those of you who don't know how short I am :blush:

(pick on me all you want for the shovel - that's the last mod I'm doing on her so I'll know when she's done :bleh: )

Special thanks go to SVRanger for the Yosh pipe and suzuker for the PCIII :hug:

Looking good, but the bike is low indeed!!! :shocking:
..... and the lowering links look like shite from the rust. With the salt air here I was fighting a losing battle trying to keep them nice :(

I'm always careful about the clearance when I ride. Even the speed bumps by the marina haven't been a problem :sweatdrop

Those stock cans are very heavy. The 2 into 1 takes a LOT of weight off the bike :niceone:
i COULD charge a 2 into 1 <_< (probably should wait though) ... long time no type (talk, see, or whatever the appropriate, hip internet term is.. are the kids still calling it the internet or is there some new fangled word that they're using :D ) techno-chica. is it nice in orange country, cause its lovely here.
cheers,
ryan

WOW ryan you do sound like you are getting the new years party started eairly :) The yoshi pipes are much lighter then the stock ,but TC is correct the 2into1 is the lightest of them all. I just really like the muscular look of duals
