If you have one of these fitted and you have problems with your bike running disconnect this before you try anything else.
I have just picked my bike up from the garage where for the past 10 weeks plus they have been trying to solve a poor running, dying, losing power, ignition problem.
After trying replacement plugs, coils, air pressure switches etc.etc they decided to take out any add ons / none standard parts and yes you have guessed it, the immobiliser was the fault.
If only they had tried it earlier, so if you have a similar problem try it first. I know I'm not the only one this has affected.
What is really annoying is "Knobby" at work has a Du-quacky that only comes out if the sun is shinning and the roads have been swept, took it out the garage some time ago and had a similar problem. After it had happened to him I told him that it was shock as the bike had been out once already earlier in the year. So he is now trying to be funny saying my bike is wishing it was a du-quacky like his. Like I said he is a KNOB
