Calm down Ricky...... the poppers are simple. Pop the middle in to remove, once removed push them right back from the other side.

To replace place it in the hole then push the middle back in flush.

I think Honda use the same ones.

Powerbronze are now in production and considering that they cost about 1/3 the price of the Ermax (which I've also seen and fully agree about) are a reasonable deal. They're also easy to fit as once your rear mudguard has been removed you can fit a Powerbronze with no cutting and no dismantling (other than removing the poppers!)

 

That sounds very familiar NoNoRicky - don't believe all you hear from these suppliers. Most of them add no value to the transaction other than sitcking their own label on the product and then uplifting the cost by 100%. Hope you get yours sorted - eventually.

Did you get a Powerbronze u/tray? If so I hope it's a better standard than the screen and hugger I got from them. I too was taken with the reasonable prices...................now I know why. I have fitted many a screen to bikes over the years, mine and others, but the Powerbronze screen is the poorest excuse for a fit I've seen to date. The hugger is well down the quality list as well, though not as bad as the screen............

 

Just thinking..........the FSD tray that I got had no holes, wrongly placed or otherwise, I didn't think any thing of it till now I just picked up the drill and did the deed. I suppose no holes are better than badly placed ones. :blink:

Have you actually got the Powerbronze thing? Is it the tail-guard or a proper undertray?

I sent them some emails a few weeks back and the tail-guard DOES require some cutting. Does look quite good though and was seriously considering it although its not a full undertray replacement.

Seems like you got a "friday afternoon" version .I've got the Ermax undertray,fitted in about three hours,everything lined up as well as I expected. ,only downside is that the paint chips very easily.

Regarding the screens,I have had a tinted "double bubble" on order with Crescent Suzuki since the end of May,But they have said that everytime they receive a batch the bloody things won't fit so they are not sending them out to customers.

At least there is some form of quality control in place.

Still wan't my screen though

I enquired about the rear end tidy from pyramid and they sent these instrucitons to me which may be of interest. I was only intersted when i thought there was no cutting involved. I have an Ermax in silver and think it looks better so seen as i have to cut anyway i will fit that instead

I got my screen from Ermax - a bit more expensive at £90 but really good quality - easily as good as original.

They do. Choose Suzuki, 03, undertail and then submit.
The SV1000 is listed there. The undertail is ugly though.
