Check under the part names, it gives measurements on the bearings at least for the swingarm in that fiche. Ronayers and BB shipping is pretty intense, I've started using kneedraggers (especially since they were sitewide 20% OEM part discount up until last week) because their shipping is cheaper.

 

Thanks. Ron Ayers doesn't have that dimensional data below the P/N. I have spoken to All Balls Racing and they have swing arm bearings, so I will be sending them these dimensions and see if they can piece it together for me. Thanks again.

Nice! All Balls Racing is the only company that I have bought bearings from. They're great!

 

A bearing house might not have the actual right bearing. It might fit, but it might not be right. The SV uses bearings that actually have the seals inside them. That way when you slide the collar in the bearing is sealed from the elements. Some bikes use a more generic style bearing and then you press in a seal after the bearing.

So here is the reply from All Balls:
"I have a needle bearing that will work but is shorter than the oem bearing. the oem bearing is 30x40x33 my bearing is 30x40x25. The oem bearing has built in seals mine doesn’t but I do have external seals 30x40x4 that will work. I do have the needle bearings that press into the lower side of the swing arm where the link bolts up. Please let me know if this is of interest to you.

Anyones thoughts on this? Seems like it shoudl work well. The external seals will keep the grease where it needs to be, and takes up the additional space. Any thoughts on this?

Only question I'd have is how will it take the clamping torque when you tighten the bolt down? Will it bind or cause excessive drag or at least more than the stock bearings? Seems that the swingarm and link are pretty tightly controlled and I sure wouldn't want any more drag on the suspension moving back there.

 

I have concerns over the 25% reduction in bearing surface, however All Balls came back and advised:

"Cory this is the bearing that a GSXR 600-1300 uses in the swing arm. I think the difference is that the SV bearing has seal built in…….."
